We value the security of your personal information and local media data. Most core features work primarily on your device and do not require an account, except when you actively use network-based features.
1. Information We Collect and Process
1.1 Content you actively provide
- Audio and lyrics files you import through the iOS file picker, sharing, AirDrop, URL import, or local Wi-Fi upload.
- Playlists, favorites, lyrics associations, file rename results, and settings you create or modify inside the App.
1.2 Data generated and stored locally
- Local library index data such as song title, artist, album, duration, file path, lyrics association, playback queue, and playlists.
- Current playback and lyric synchronization state used for background playback, lock screen display, Bluetooth, and car display scenarios.
- Cached lyric lookup results when you use the AI lyrics feature.
1.3 Automatically processed information
- When you use network features, servers may receive basic request information such as IP address, request time, and basic device or system information generated by the network connection.
- The current version of the App does not provide an account system and does not collect personal information for advertising or cross-app tracking purposes.
2. How We Use the Information
- To import, organize, play, and display the local audio and lyrics files you choose.
- To share a local media library across companion apps in the same suite, including Swift Music, Swift Sync, and Swift Tag.
- To provide metadata reading, lyrics matching, playback queue, favorites, file management, and related music-library features.
- To process AI lyrics lookup, URL-based downloads, and local Wi-Fi transfer requests initiated by you.
3. Where Data Is Stored
The App is primarily based on local storage. Imported audio files, lyrics files, and library index data are typically stored on your device and in a shared App Group container used by companion apps in the same product suite.
If you do not actively use online features such as AI lyrics lookup or URL import, we generally do not upload the content of your music files to our servers.
4. Permissions and System Capabilities
- File access: the App uses the iOS system file picker to access only the audio or lyrics files you explicitly choose to import.
- Local network access: used to enable the Wi-Fi browser upload feature so a computer on the same LAN can transfer songs or lyrics files to your iPhone.
- Background audio: used to keep audio playback active and show playback information on the lock screen, Control Center, Bluetooth, or car displays.
The current version of the App does not declare camera, contacts, location, microphone, or ad tracking permissions.
5. Third-Party Services and External Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Data may be sent to third-party service providers only in the following cases:
- AI lyrics service: when you actively use the “AI Lyrics” feature, requests are sent to
https://lyrics.yanzhitech.com.cn. The request usually includes the song title you entered or selected and may include a device identifier used for service authentication. - User-provided URL import: when you import a media file from a URL, the request is sent to the destination server specified by you.
The current version is in a promotional period and does not present in-app purchase, restore-purchase, or offer-code entry points. The Wi-Fi upload feature transfers files within your local network between your own devices. It is intended for LAN transfer and is not the same as uploading your files to our remote servers.
6. Retention and Deletion
- Imported files and local library data remain on your device until you delete them, clear the library, or uninstall the App.
- You can delete songs, lyrics, playlists, and related local records inside the App.
- When the App is uninstalled, iOS usually removes app-associated local data. If shared data is still used by other companion apps in the same suite, some shared data may remain while those apps are installed.
7. Children’s Privacy
The App is intended for a general audience and is not specifically directed to children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a minor has provided inappropriate information, please contact us using the developer contact information shown on the App Store listing.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App’s features, data processing practices, or legal requirements change. The updated version will be published on a new page and will take effect from the updated date shown above.
